The Gospel is good news!
We are all in need of a Saviour. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We cannot be saved by our own good works, but we are justified by God’s gift of grace to us. Jesus is our redemption plan and no one else can ever do what Jesus has done for us. The wages of sin are death. But God shows His great love to us that while we were still sinners Jesus took the punishment we deserved upon Himself and died a brutal death on the cross to bring us into the fullness of eternal life. Through Jesus, we are made as white as snow! We are set free from our sin!
Jesus rose from the dead and is alive today and He wants a personal relationship with us. He wants us to enjoy Him forever and to glorify His name! Through Jesus Christ, we have a relationship with God the Father, and are filled with the Holy Spirit who reveals God’s nature and character to us.
Giving your life to Jesus is as simple as the verse above from the Bible says. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, you will be saved. This means that you become a child of God and you are no longer who you once were, but you are made anew in Christ. You can now have a personal relationship with the Heavenly Father and receive eternal life.
To have access to this- repeat this prayer ALOUD and BELIEVE it as you pray:
I am calling out to you now because I want a personal relationship with you. I know that I am a sinner and there is nothing I can do to save myself. I want to invite you into my heart and my whole life. I ask that you forgive me of all of my sins and make me new. I believe that Jesus Christ took on my sin, died on the cross and was raised from the dead as a guarantee of my forgiveness and salvation. I surrender completely to you and thank you for giving me the gift of eternal life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
We want to encourage you at this time to join a Biblically-based, spirit-filled church. If you do not already know of one, we would love to invite you to visit us here at LifeSpring Church. The local church plays a key and significant role in the life of every Christian! Jesus does not tell us to make converts but he tells us to make disciples (Mathew 28:18-20). The local church is there so you can enter a place of community, discipleship, and family.
